Initial Network Access
1. Inprocess the Brigade S-6 in Room 18 of the Brigade Headquarters (2717 McLain Street); a technician will assist to:
a. Update DMDC IDCO profile.
b. Verify DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge and Army IT User Agreement have been completed within the past year - user will need to send the certificates to the tech assisting them; if either will expire within the next month, complete on the US Army Cyber Security Training Center website.
c. Submit Baseline System Authorization Access (2875) Form through the Account Validation System; users must have a CAC, know the organization to which they are being assigned, and know who their supervisor will be to properly route the request.
1) From the AVS Home page, select link to Submit (2875) Baseline SAAR Request and acknowledge the Privacy Act Statement; click Next.
2) Users must submit requests for themselves; select Myself and click Next.
3) Verify your User Account Information; click Next - if any information is incorrect, ensure your DMDC IDCO profile has been updated. Note: You may have to wait for DMDC to update the information.
4) On the Account Request Information Screen:
a) Under Network Access Requested, select NIPR from the drop-down.
b) Under Justification For Access, enter User requires network access to perform official duties.
c) Enter your Supervisor/Sponser Email in the space provided.
d) Under Security Manager Email, enter one of the following, depending on the organization to which you are being assigned:
- 1-222d Avation Regiment - john.p.higgins1.mil@army.mil.
- 1-210th Avation Regiment - roger.d.jolly.civ@army.mil.
- 2-210th Avation Regiment - lynette.holloman.civ@army.mil or paul.b.calihan.civ@army.mil.
- NCO Academy or HHC, 128th Aviation Brigade - shagan.b.gatewood.civ@army.mil or tony.winn.civ@army.mil.
e) Under ISSO or Appointee Name, enter mark.a.miller12.civ or annamarie.slanina.civ and select the resultant user.
f) Under Annual Cyber Awareness Training Date, enter the date you last completed the Cyber Awareness Challenge.
g) Under Army IT User Agreement Date, enter the date you last signed the IT User Agreement (should be the same as the date you last completed the Cyber Awareness Challenge).
h) Contract personnel will be required to enter their Company Name, Contract Number, and Contract Expiration Date, as well.
i) Click Submit; you will receive an email shortly stating that your request has been submitted and is awaiting approval; you can also monitor the status of your request through the AVS website.
2. A 128AB Entitlement Manager will verify user's Army 365 (@army.mil) entitlement; if user does not have an Army 365 account, EM will complete provision request - account access takes approximately 4-24 hours after account has been provisioned.
3. Once your web-based 2875 workflow is completed/approved through AVS - you will receive an email from the system - return to the Brigade S-6 to request to have a local network account created for you.
